Daniel Lipman is an American writer and producer, he and his partner Ron Cowen developed the original Channel 4 drama series Queer as Folk into the Showtime version. Both he and Cowen had a large part in writing many episodes as well as the overall story, they produced and helped write every episode of the Showtime drama series.
