Hal Sparks is an American actor, comedian, musician and television personality. He portrayed main character Michael Novotny in the Showtime drama series Queer as Folk.
Early life[]
Hal Sparks was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but grew up at Peak Mill, Kentucky. When Sparks was 14 years old, he moved to the Chicago Metropolitan area and enrolled into New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, where he entered into the theatre department.
