Liberty Avenue is a district in the Showtime drama series Queer as Folk. It is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the city was particularly notable to homosexual residents for Liberty Avenue, the Centre of gay Pittsburgh and home to many bars and clubs. Many LGBTQ residents have made it their choice to reside in or near to the gay scene where they can flee Hate crimes and feel accepted and embraced in their lifestyle.
