Ron Cowen is an American writer and producer, he and his partner Daniel Lipman developed the original Channel 4 drama series Queer as Folk into the Showtime version. Both he and Lipman had a large part in the writing of many episodes as well as the overall story, they producer and helped write every episode of the Showtime drama series.
